Here is what I found locked inside an old apple tree with my Alaskan mill last week.

Did this with my 372 and have been thinking about moving up, but can’t decide if I want a newer saw like an 088 or 3120, or should I look for a 2100 or 090. Problem with the older saws in good shape, is they seem to go for not that much less than the newer ones.

That is pretty wild looking reminds of a ghost or something. It is amazing what cool things you can discover in wood if you look long enough. I have seen knots that look like mushrooms, ducks and so on. Happy milling.... Wade Huggins

Make yourself a nativity scene out of those? Pretty neat; thanks for sharing.

Rob, charge admission to see those things. You'll make a mint from religous folks.

Get an 090. You know you want to. :) New 3120s are around $800 on eBay, used 090s seem to be in the $400-600 range. Might be a lot for a used saw, but you're getting The Most Powerful Regular Production Saw In The World. :blob2:

I figure it's genetic. Every man with an interest in saws has a 137cc gap in his DNA. Only one way to correct that. :) I still have a 27cc deficiency.
