Waiting at the Traffic lights today behind a highway sign I spied two sets of 6 ft long milling rails.

They are everywhere here in Oz.
 
I wonder how well they would work with that nice flat surface still attached.
 
Looks like the bottom two are tweeked on the right side . I think they would notice a broom handle wedged and wired . Just get the hole thing, post and all :hmm3grin2orange:
 
Today I went and bought some of this "Highway sign" mill rails

Here is what the Highway sign stuff look like in cross section compared to GB rails (black) and (on the RHS) the rails on my 2 bigger mills
The OD of the Highway sign and GB are the same.

The highway sign is missing the piece locking the two sides together in the middle but it does have stronger corners than the GB stuff.
Best of all the price is ~USD$25 for a 20ft length!

I went to my regular Wood working Store to buy some regular T-track to make a Wood Working Bandsaw sled but when they wanted US$28 for a 3 ft length I looked further afield and came across the highway sign.
