Why the helmet, nothing should fall down on your head in that application......:blob2: :blob2:

I've heard that it's a good idea to wear one in case of kickback.

Hey Lake, what model of saw is that in the pictures? Real nice lookin' setup.

The pic of me sitting on the log is an 066 (same model as the 660) with a 28 inch bar. The other saw in use is a 361.

We just heard... 3 more storms, not as strong, in the next 5 days. First one already on the coast and expected by 10pm here.. :rockn:

Yeah, we flew off shore today and saw it coming. Saw it make "landfall" actually. It was pretty nasty. Tossed the plane around pretty good.

Great pics Andy. I took apart an alder cluster that had come down on a buddy's shed, root ball and all. Kinda the same thing, but not nearly as technical or apparently as fun. Well done! Beer time indeed.

Nice work Lake. Great pictures..

I did a huge (for NY) Norway Spruce like that, it's amazing how fast things move when released. Can't believe your photographer captured the action shots of the stump settling. Good job, how'd that first brewsky taste.:hmm3grin2orange: :biggrinbounce2:

Looking good there Leopard. Would love to have been there with ya. We would have had a blast..............

Out of the fryin' pan and into the fire :blob2: ... gettin' geared up for another round. These next few storms aren't gonna pack the punch this last one did. But, the ground is saturated and there are a lot of weakened trees around powerlines.

It is rainin' like hell here on Whidbey... wind gusts already at 40 mph and lookin' to get worse.

Here we go again...:buttkick:

Yup, beer 'tatoes and a few Steaks, 'tater take a while to go bad, and you can make a lot of dishes with them:ices_rofl:

Noooiiiiiicccccce, Andrew! you are da man!

Too bad we'll miss ya tomorrow when I roll into your neighborhood to do the $5500 or so worth of work that you graciously allowed me the opportunity to land. Not including the $3200 job that I lost because I carelessly neglected to tell the client that we and the crane would be 24 hours late.....ouch.....
You're doubly the man...

and now I owe ya some hookers and blow

We are still without power (on generator right now) and only got internet access a few minutes ago. WInd tore up the area pretty good. Trees and powerpoles down everywhere around here still. Never seen damage to the electrical grid like this before.

WIth no power I can't work in my shop so I have been bringing home trailer loads of doug fir firewood everyday.

It's late and I haven't read any posts in the last week, so I'll try to catch up tomorrow. Good to be back on the web, confess I missed it. Bill
