Would like to buy a modded MS 260 muffler from someone who has experience w/the 260. My saw has both H and L adjusters. If I can get a muffler prior to the GTG in MA on the 28th. I would find someone there to help me w/tuning. I've tried opening some of the photo's from threads related to this but cannot open them.

These are probably the easiest saws to muff mod... I did it to mine. Here's a link to the for sale ad. Check out the fourth pic down.

Just drill a couple of extra holes above and below the one that's already there, and grind them out into one big slot. The stock fire screen will still work, too.
