Did a walker-type modification to the muffler on my 046 last week.
Seems to rune better but I am wondering if one could build a flange to bolt onto the exhaust port, then weld on a straight piece of pipe for ultimate free flow. Has anyone tried it? How well did it work? Lucky

It would sound kinda cool until you lost the abiility to hear, but apart from that, a straight pipe on a two stroke makes little sense...some restriction is necessary to slow the flow of exhaust gases out of the cylinder because then, as the exhause leaves some fresh mixture goes with it. Less fuel/air mix to make power on the next power stroke that way.
