Mods for Dolmar 120

I bought a Dolmar 120. While cleaning and replacing bad mounts, I discovered the crank end is chipped on the mag side. Since I will have to tear it down to replace the crank, I'd like to mod the ports. Not for race, but to "wake it up" for a fast firewood saw. There must be someone who has done mods like this to this classic saw. Any suggestions on port timing, width, and transfers?
