Any good?

Seems like a great price.... has anyone used this brand/model? Comments?

Okay, okay, I'll do a search as well. :)

Looks like a cheap piece of chinese junk to me

I doubt it was ever worth the 16 bucks.. I never test wood. I cut it a year ahead of time. store it under the woodshed roof. And burn it..

It's a 200 meg resistance meter calibrated for wood. What's not to work on it ?

In a pinch I bought a Cen-Tec multimeter because it was to far to drive back after my Fluke and the time was important. That was 4 years ago and it has held up well. Still working and displays values within .1% of what my Fluke shows.

I would consider it an usable tool for someone buying firewood to keep from getting wet wood. Even for a wood cutter to be able to show the buyer that his wood is seasoned.

Would I use it in a rocket lab to test MC in a new bio-mass solid propellent before sending something into space ? no.

Just spray some water displacement formula number forty on that fuel and it will be fine. (WD40)
