Timber industry officials and environmentalists are criticizing a proposal that would nearly double the acreage designated as critical habitat for the northern spotted owl.

Another attempt to stop logging altogether. Little by little they're doing it, too. This is the logging world you're going to live and work in Jameson. Any ideas?

Implement basic forest education into grade schools all the way through high schools, with a focus on where wood products come from. Start 'em young.

Then there's PSA's and public ads what have you.

Equal access to the courts, needs some limitations on that. No one should be allow to sue willy-nilly against something unless they have proper knowledge to back up their claims.

It's all a convoluted mess when you break it down, but we gotta start somewhere.
