Gorilla tape.
Just working through my very first roll now. I have used it for many things of course. One of which turned out nice was encasing the trailer light harness. I think this stuff is more tacky and more rubbery than duct tape.

I tore strips for this.

The long strip on the left is just holding down the ends of some straps. The short piece of tape on the right is covering a tear and its been holding nicely for a awhile now. I heated the tape with a heat gun when I apllied it.

And that was my old Microender I finally swapped out for this stuff I had gotten awhile ago.

This turns out to be a very comfy and versatile saddle though a little heavy and bulky.

I almost bought the cougar this past weekend but the weight is what deterred me. Did look pretty comfy though.

Suspenders help while on the ground, but you don't feel the weight when climbing/working. Why didn't ya put the micropulley on the bridge instead of the thimble - would be alot smoother and reduce the bend more?:yoyo:

Yeah! I use the suspenders to hold the saddle up while I bend over to strap my spikes. :)

Using the "H" harness, AWESOME!!!!
Rep your way!

I like the idea but without a top rope working poles is tough with suspenders. Everything is on your shoulders and you can lift your arms very high. I got these suspenders from Army/Navy for 12 bucks. They are rigid and more for backpacking.
If they had a cross brace over the chest do you think it would help? Sometimes I just take my arm out to make a reach if they are pulling me back.

That's why I use the thin flexible suspenders. You can still lift your arms and they don't dig in or cause any discomfort while still doing what suspenders do. Where's the holster Dan, you slippin?
