When I see ivy the price automatically goes up. I hate the stuff. It's hell on the chipper too.

I should have taken photos on the first day. We were all shocked we dragged pile after pile on sheets to the chipper. It also attracts wasps (I think they're called Yellow jackets over here) and I have a severe allergy, I have to carry Epi-pens. That was a very cold damp February when we did that job though so no wasps.

Yeah man, nice job no doubt!

That big stihl looks pretty shiny, did you buy it just for that tree??

Good observation! No it actually belonged to the Ginger bearded guy who passed on the job to me. If you look in the avatar shot he'd ordered a 50 odd inch bar it was so underpowered. If you look when I'm making the back cut I'd put the original bar back on. I told him he didn't need to buy it as Wayne and I were tricked up, but he was priced in and insisted so it seemed a shame not to use it. 395XP leaves it for dust though.

I'da thunk that that was from the tree giving way whilst the bar was in the curf

I actually got lucky there John because the ground groaned just before which gave me at least a few seconds to pull the saw out. There is a photo taken by Tom just after though where I'm white as a sheet as the penny dropped as what could have happened the day before when I was bombing down huge bits of timber. I am very lucky any shifting of weight could have sent her over at any time.

So yep! There was a loose bowel moment!
