Mother Nature sent me a gift!

While taking some old soup out into my woods to dump it I could help but notice that a dead standing ash tree had blown over.....I couldnt help it as it was RIGHT over the trail LOL. About 30ft high and about 12-14" at the base.

I spent the morning cutting and stacking. I had at some of the stuff with the maul. Ive been burning some of it this afternoon and man is that nice wood

Wound up with 5 trailer loads with my garden tractor. Nice little score, funny thing is I dont remember seeing the dead tree before this LOL....

The trick is convincing the wife that it _did_ fall over ...
Although I have noticed that they do tend to do that when a saw is running...must scare them or sumpin.
