I live here in north east Pennsylvania where the laurel used to be so thick you could not see out from my home.
Now, 30 years later, it is all dying, and I don't know why.
There is quite an overstory that has developed since I moved here, so they have lost some sun, but the cause I think is some kind of spotting on the leaves that they all seem to have now.
The laurel die from the bottom up, at the last stage there are just a sprinkling of foliage at the top, then they go totally dead.
anyone know what disease it is and how to treat it?
I'd like to know if I can spray them with some kind of fungicide to save the ones that are remaining.
