
Got it fairly cleaner up! A little bit of acid and a lot a bit of gentle sanding. I ordered OEM rings from the local shop and they gave me 1 ring [emoji849] so I replaced the upper ring with OEM ring and put the OEM top back on it with the aftermarket piston and second ring. Did a gasket delete and let it set. Started it up and without touching the carb it hit 13,500. I call that a win.
