Personally I think a low hour Stihl 361 is easily worth $450, this one is low hour but due to age rubber was getting stiff, take the $450 I paid plus Husqvarna deflector and screws, new chain, all oem parts including carb kit and carb accelerator pump kit, oem green fuel line and filter, only thing that is cheap is the Stihl stock line for impulse and vent lines, there you have it, $550, obviously doesn't include labor. With the muffler mod this cut stronger in 20" oak than the 362cm I had used, maybe that saw wasn't broken in yet.Man. I had one that was a very low hour saw, about ten months ago. I had it listed for $450 and it sat here for several weeks as guys lowballed me and told me it wasn't worth that much. I finally traded it to fin460! Just sayin, and stuff.
Hey, if you get too many offers, I am looking for a clean all-OEM stock 361 PHO for my nephew.
$550 is a tad overripe for a 361 IMO, as I bought them new for that from the dealers with a warranty. I also have a mint (and I mean MINT!) all stock 036 PRO that I would be willing to trade for a mint 361.
But there a collectable. Lmao.I agree , i had a guy locally try to sell me one for 800.00...i just laughed and said ill pass

The 361 I emailed U on is one of my eater saws bought here. Was supposed to be in good condition with a bad oil pump. Well a different cylinder, new piston and rings, different oil pump, and a new clutch drum later it will be on good shape. Lol. AS far as porting standards when your buying a saw just ask what was done to it. That should give u a good idea. I've looked at ported saws on craigslist and when it was all said and done they were nothing more than muffler modded. And as far as price it adds. Well I guess that's personal opinion. Cause u can look at it 2 ways. Like a vechicle. They won't give u more money at a dealer regardless of what u have done. But on the other hand buy the saw stock and have it ported and see what u got in it...ya...without pissing anyone off..i wanna hear some opinions on how much value porting adds to a saw , ive ate it on more than a few saws..ive wanted to start a thread on the matter but i figured it would end up in a battle..id like to see a AS set a condition standard too but im sure that would start more than its share of trouble , ive received saws described as mint that were anything but it in my eyes , and also received saws described as fair condition and were better than i expected..
I've got one... I put a clean (never scored) OEM P&C with new Caber rings together for a customer. He dropped the ball on his bill and I ended up with the saw. It's pulling 160psi from memory... Tight bottom end with no air leaks. Didn't run quite right when he said he didn't have the cash. Carb kit likely. $400 to your door, anyone?
