You guys here on this site talked me into buying an MS200 about a year ago and I had been pretty happy with it. After running about 10 tanks of fuel thru it I removed the muffler screen and modified the carb adj screws so I could richen up the HS mixture. Since then I haven't really had a good test for it.
Saturday i was cutting a load of firewood for my Aunt and used it on a dead but completely sound cherry that was about 13 inches across the butt.
The little saw is awesome. I realize it is not designed for trees this large and is probably at its best in 8 or 10 inch stuff. Even on the butt cuts it only stalled in the cut when I horsed it too much. Also Stihl designed the trigger location so that I really have to consciously push it all the way down, so sometimes tend not to use full rpms when I should.
Anyway, awesome little saw. It is so light and handy I use it most of the time due to my trees being much smaller than most of you guys.
Thanks for the great advice, again!!!
