They get a bit spoilt over there, hey Timber...Nice enough guys but the price they get things for make my eyes water...

Just the basics i just replaced cost a heap, and a lot is 2nd hand..

Even the toy i posted above cost $55.00.(But i had to have it)
any one eles got one like it?, i'd love to know..

back to winging about prices (without sounding like Rolla..lol)
a pictures worth a thousand words....

In this ca$e $ee for your $elf..why we get a little peaved about the price$... Derek..

You're probably better off with the echo, if you miss on a cut and that saw get's snatched, your better off losing $200 over the $400+. Get a 12" bar and chain for that echo, it'll cut faster, and you can still cut a 24" diameter chunk. 14" is a bit much for that powerhead. I personally am a fan of echo, You can't find a saw for less $$ that'll take the abuse like a 3400. Heck I've still got a 280e, haven't been able to kill it yet.

That is about the only thing that POS saw is good for other that maybe a boat anchor or a door stop!

So whats the matter with the ol 335. Mine takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. Bought it used for 200.00 and have had no problems with it. On the other hand the stihl 018 I used to use as a climbing saw gave me oiler problems. I'd like to have an ms200 but us weekend hackers can't afford those things.

My 335 runs okay starts reliably after 8 pulls, has about the same power as an Echo, hardly use it since I do 95% removals for other people and a good handsaw and a 346 is the kit for removals , until 16" and up. I don't feel a MS200 is worth the money out here. I question pruning with a cainsawe anyway, and if one is needed for large cuts get a smallish 2 handle saw sent up.

The above quote was my post. Every 335 owner that I have ever talked to where I live in the 6 or so years that the 335 has been on the market has had nothing good to say about it.

Now if you are one of the ones that has found one to run good then more power to ya!;)

Given the fact that they are a well designed saw ergonomically, it is a shame that Husky can't make a decent top handle saw in such an open market!
