gota cut the cookies thin.

just enough room to clear a 1/4 inch cookie, also the heat from the pipe helps to brown the cookies nicely on one side. mmm lol

Nothing used to clamp the piece together, just bent into shape held in place and tack welded in three or four places, then beaded around.

Going to try to finish it off today.

Toneman, that is the sound of Timberwolf's 260 with my EHP designed pipe. His square filed chain. 3.11 seconds in 10 inch poplar. It is having to stand on its tip toes to hit the high notes since it was designed for my saw that is a fair bit wilder. That Unicorn needs the curl put in its horn yet!

Leaf blower with 130 degree twist.

Cutting around 3.2 - 3.5 seconds on the bigger end of that same 10" poplar log.

power band may be a bit narrower than with the pipe Ed designed.

Must be the angle I took the photo, the pipe sits out a good 16 inches from my hip.

though I have noticed some hot saws with the pipe simply 90 out to the side and left horizantal, thought that would set the saw off balance more. I guess they must be used to it, and maybe there is a preformance advantage with less bend in the pipe.

066 leaf and twig blower

This pipe is cutting much better, than the pipe I had at Ed's in the fall.

Maybe If I had not slept through math class I would have had it close to right on the first try. Welding might also have been a bit beter if I had of listened to dad a bit more too.

Nice looking pipe on the 066 Timberwolf.
How much weld bead is on the inside of the pipe? Just thinking if there is too much it will cause some heavy "turbulent" flow patterns inside the pipe

Very little bead on the inside, and I went over most lightly (where possible) with the air grinder while putting it together.

Found also that keeping the feed wire at a tangent to the weld minimized weld penetration.

I'l try a couple pics of the inside of a pipe section later.

Nice work there TW. I have your sprockets and will PM you.
