Finaly got back to it.
here a couple pics of some welds on a 1.5 inch practice piece.
I was trying to control the penitration with the wire angle.
the gap (lack of penetration on the inside of the pipe) between point A and B (pic 3) was where the wire was held off at and angle of 45-60 degrees.
Pic 5 is after a second with the air grinder.
