Use a rotary tool and remove the area behind the screw holding the spark arrestor. This leaves one exhaust opening and roughy 80%-85% of the exhaust intake for adequate back pressure. I wouldn’t introduce fins on the front unless you like hot exhaust gases shooting towards your face.
This is the reason some loggers don’t enjoy the WCS bark box.
