I can’t figure out what it is I know it’s one of those MS290 MS310 MS390 since part numbers start with 1127. And I think I got the serial number correct, it’s hard to read. I don’t know what to do with it at the moment, but cylinder and piston look good. If you know the exact model, please let me know, thank you!

FWIW, clean it up. If the P/C are in good shape buy OEM rings, seals and some Dirko. New rubbers(fuel, impulse, intake, ect.), filters and a carb kit. Put it back together. You will have a long lasting, durable and totally serviceable firewood saw which is over weight and under powered by todays standards. Still today totally worth it. *If P/C, bearings, crank and such are still good.* This would be the deciding point for me.
I rebuilt my Dad's 029 FARM BOSS, a mid-80' model with some sentimental value(to me), 5-6 years ago in the condition I outline above, runs and cuts good for what it is(better than home-owner & less than pro grade). I did do a muffler mod at the time. The "FARM BOSS" series saws were good saws in their day. Still hold their own for what they are today. Just don't expect to win cookie cutting competitions or impress at a GTG

Appreciate the advice guys, but I have more saws than I need. I’m selling this thing the way it is. Already calculated parts needed and it’s more than $120. Saws like this go for $200 to $300. Selling it as is is a better option.

Good luck on your sell. But since I have already taken a pic(and who doesn't like saw pics? 😅) my current MS 261v2 and Dad's old MS029 Farm Boss. Both are running 18" .325" .063", both filling similar purpose(limbing) with very, very, very different amounts of run time.

That series should have been 11/29 instead of 1127,.....as in the design team should have spent a year in lockup for that crime!
