MS361 Metal Side Cover Question

Can someone tall me what the difference is between the older MS361/MS441 "Large" cover (part number 1138 648 0400) and the MS362 "Large" cover (part number 1138 648 0460)?

Visibly look identical without having them in my hand, and they are both supposed to be metal.

If you search the new part number here, it seems to be a modified 441 cover adapted to fit the 661.

I saw those posts, but the part has been used on the MS362 from the factory without the modification. It is more readily available and cheaper than the older part, but not sure if there is something else about it that I am missing.
