Sold ms440 and 044 parts

Selling a good ms440 case and crank and what u see in the picture. Crank is straight and tight. Main bearings are shot. No stripped holes or broken parts on the case. Comes with flywheel and older nice shape slant fin 044 cylinder. Package deal for 125 shipped.

Its a mahle so I'm guessing a early model 12 mm jug

Angled top fins mean it's from a 10mm saw, but from what I've read here it's fine to use a 10mm cylinder with a 12mm crank. I have personally built a saw with a 10mm jug and crank using a 440 case, and it worked great. Problems apparently arise if putting a 12mm crank in a 10mm case (not enough room for the counterweights) or putting a 12mm jug over a 10mm piston (ring end position) but the parts listed here should work fine together.

Not that I know of, but I have a 12mm 044 with slant fins. If my funds weren't so low right now I would definitely pick up this package deal, it's something I've been needing.

Yep, perfectly reasonable price for someone that needs both. I want the cylinder (mine is missing chunks of a couple of fins) but I don't really need either.

Best way to tell 10 mm/12 mm is by the SN, but even that is not 100%. There were definitely angle fin 12 mms. Likely, if they had the same jug, they ran just as strong.
