I would like to know what the simplest and most efficient method of doing a muffler mod is on my saw. Can I just drill some holes, or do I order the dual port muffler kit. I want my saw to sound as mean as a husky if not meaner and cut like the nasty machine it should be. Thanks in advance.

Find a front cover from a dual port 046. it bolts right on. or find the side cover from a old 038 mag.(the dual port one) and unscrew it from the 038 and out it on the pull side of the muffler over a whole cut into the 044 muffler. you can go as big or as small as you would like. either method can come out looking very professional if done correctly
does that help at all??

heres what the 046 cover would look like

He's a New Yorker I know what he wants and that's a Walkers muffler. Pipes and loud baby.
Go to this link and from there Walkerized dial it up and your set.
Maybe you should take a ride over the bridge and you can run few modded saws.
