Muffler Gasket For Ms460

I just pulled my muffler off my ms460 and I noticed that there was a gasket between the muffler and the metal flange that goes in betweed the muffler and the cylinder, I didnt see a gasket between the flange and the cylinder, is this normal? Also if I order a new muffler cover will it come with a gasket for the cover?

There is a gasket bewteen the muffler and the shield, nothing between the shield and the jug.

I dont believe the new covers come with a gasket.

The muffler front cover gasket is only on the "non-magum" or non dual-port models. With the dual port trhe internal pressures are lower and its not really required. Real expensive fro wha it is (like $13 for the 066) and usually not reinstalled!
