muffler temps

Just wondering how much heat a muffler puts out on the typical woods saw. Also was wondering how many degrees cooler a muffler runs after it has been modified and how it affects the longevity of a saw. Thanks Wade

I don't know if anyone else does, but go to walkerssawshop.com, click on Walkerizing, and they have a dyno print-out of exhaust temps, before and after modification.
