I have several black mulberry trees.
One is huge multi-trunked and has been healthy > 60 years. It was big 60 years ago.
Last spring a good portion of it did not leaf out. I thought it may have been due to crazy late winter/spring with 70s or 80s in Feb-March then hard freezing.
The other trees not effected last year, but this year one other, much smaller, also is about 50% without foiliage. We had a normal late winter/spring this year. The big tree is much worse , it seems much is dead.
Any ideas on this? Insects, fungus?
