Ok, so today I went and got me a 200T. I removed 5 Ceders and I saw a huge improvement on the 250 and the 044. That was great. I like the 200 and all so I used it for the day.
Then I got home and called a friend. We shot the breeze, had a debate on bowline vrs. halfhitch, ect. Then I went out to the garage to look at the 200's muffler. I knew what I wanted to do, so I was all for it.
I quickly broke the 2 visible screws that hold the muffler together, but I got it out, apart, fixed, and back in.
Then I went to tune it. I remembered about the limiting caps, and inspected mine. The dealer had mine pegged on the high side. I looked deeper at where it hit the spring looking limiter, and tried to get it to give enough to get past the limiter. I then discovered that it was a roll pin, to the detrement of the head on the screw.
First question, how do I replace the high sides screw? Well I tuned it the best I could, but it still smokes when you gun it so more is defenetly required, but is mighty hard without a slot for the screwdriver to fit in.
One thing I think I figured out. Take off the plastic plate on top of the carb, and use a pair of vice grips, and just pull out the roll pin, much easier than cutting off the hump on the limiter.
