It’s been a pretty good truck to me for the year I’ve had it, it does detonate a little in higher gears so if u wanna romp it or tow with it it needs 108 octane booster View attachment 1232154

Try Seafoam. That 108 stuff is gimmick crap.

Don’t remember if I used the 108 it Lucas but one of them worked very good. I thought it was 108 tho. I did try gum out octane booster and that stuff did nothing

Ok kinda funny seems lot of people have no problems and other hate it. Maybe I’ll think about the red armor. I’d run my hp2 Honda dirt bike oil but the 171 won’t run it. Used to run it in my 362 and wondered why it was running so lean. That was a m tronic 362. I’ve sold it a while ago and now have a standard 362 I bought new In about 2021 I think.

Amsoil Saber is also excellent oil. I have used it for about 15 years and am very happy with it. I really like the blue-green tint it gives the premix at 50:1. Makes it easy to see you are pouring mix instead of gas when filling the saw.
But either Saber or Red Armour seem to be excellent oils by almost everyone who has used them.

Might want to do some research on Stihl ultra oil.
I have no personal experience with it, but from what I have read many times on here, it is a very poor choice of oil.
