How did you calculate the fin area reduction?

I cant reveal everything right out front, I have to have some mysteries so people will want my services.
Did you all notice the hand hammered finish on the outside of the jug?
I took inspiration from some overpriced copper cookware at the hoity toity mall nearby, I think it really sets off the brash nature of the low drag cooling fins.
Had I known how pristine the carcass was I could have saved my self some time and taken it the recycling bin before I took it apart :)

I'm thinking that you should definitely use acid when you work on that aluminum transfer.

It appears you've already got the acid part worked out....
 
Just curious, did you add the extra carbon to help reduce squish and is the raised spot in the one port to compensate for the reduction?
Hey...c'mon now...he's gotta keep some secrets to himself. I'd say he's been pretty forthcoming in his methods already. You gotta figure some stuff out for yourself. Drop some acid and get a chisel and mallet and do some of your own experimenting like ol Dave has done. :laugh:
