Tralee is nice this time of year.
I'd be too tempted to fire it up even if I didn't need it lolHow these things even exist is beyond me, I have heard of impulse buyers, my wife is a fine example of one of those, but some dude in the Husky shop needs a 288 at that moment then realizes he doesn't when he gets home... Awesome, great find... etc. etc.
Hey Bryan, have you seen these?
Yes, I'm harassing another member, lol
That is not very nice.......
Kinda be a shame to port that one,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,err, not?
He told me to eat my heart out. So, I have no heart now! Besides, a man always needs a goal, something to strive for
You shipped it USPS?! What if it got lost?!!!
Lucky you... I could not afford this one when I saw it... otherwise it would be a different story. Sorry that you did not get it at the cheaper price.
When I see the term "lite", I think of low-calories, beer that really isn't, watered-down, or something that comes up short.
Husky should have spent more time on a better model name.
Anyways, congrats and enjoy!!
Let me know if you want to sell your beater 288 Lite please.
Was it you who had the mint 262, or Clint?I dont have any beater saws. I have "useable" saws and a "collectable" catagory. On my favorite 2 series models I have 1 of each. My ported 288 lite is my favorite saw that I own. It's the first Husq saw I ever held. It caused me to see the light and take off the "Stihl" blinders. It was Randy's personal saw. It's the saw I grab more than any other, irregardless of the cutting.
You call 'em like you see them. I'm just adding your 288 to my watch list... ya know what I mean?I dont have any beater saws. I have "useable" saws and a "collectable" catagory. So with that 288xp now there, is the 262 gonna get the attention it deserves...? Sure is a fine saw!Clint had it and started a thread on his score. Couldnt get it off my mind so I sent him an "intent to buy it" message just "fishin" and he agreed to sell it to me.
