My surprise curly oak....

I was just outside splitting a few chunks of wood that I had laying around and found this hiding in there. It was in some oak, looks like it has some pretty good curl in it and I still have a pretty large log of this same piece left whole. Gonna have to put the mill in action tomorow and do some further investigation!

I don't think I have ever seen any oak with curly figure. Choose your milling and projects wisely to showcase that stuff !. Keep us posted. Pics are good.
