mystery to me ?131 xe

i have seen a 131 xe on ebay.co.uk .
had a look on mike acres site and this resulted in nothing found .
googled it and yahooed it nada .this saw is an ex -british army saw any clues or info on it?

It looks like a Husqvarna 181 se.

did the 181 have the plastic brake handle? the box lloks like it say's 181se but i thought they had metal brake handles.

The saw is a 181 SE. This seller has sold these army surplus saws before and I have pointed her mistake out to her. Guess she isn't too bothered judging by the prices they sell for, even when she posts replys to questions guessing the displacement as "approx 33cc"

The newer 281 brake side will fit the 181, as will a 266. I thought 181 because maybe the letters were se not xe.

well was outbid on the mystery saw so have got me eyes on a nice ms 260 .my makita dcs 5200 was killed by a muppet who cant reverse and use his eyes at the same time :censored:
