Need a turbo for an sc352 diahatsu diesel

Does anyone know where I can find a turbo for a 2004 diahatsu 34hp diesel on my sc352, blew the turbo and need to find a replacement. I'm sure Vermeer can get me one but who knows how much they are going to charge. Probably atleast one whole arm and maybe 2 legs.

Any authorized Briggs and Stratton/Diahatsu engine dealer orservice shop can get you one of those. Diahatsu is the diesel engine brand name used by Briggs.

All Briggs dealers must buy through a Briggs distributor. There are no factory direct Briggs dealers.
Do a Google search on "Briggs Diahatsu diesel parts online". I am sure something will come up.

Any good Diesel injection service shop will source one for you.

We bought an after market one here in New Zealand and it was a lot cheaper than the Diahatsu one. It came from a turbo and injection supplier who can match almost anything. The replacement turbo has so far outlasted the original. (twice the hrs)

Make sure it's the turbo

I have an old deutz with a turbo and I was losing power. It sounded like the turbo was not working. I called deutz and I learned that it's usually never the turbo that's the problem. I just had to take it in and get it tuned up. Hope this might help.

The contact person for Daihatsu parts is Dave Hudson, Briggs and Stratton, phone number 913-669-6648 and he can help direct you. I have a 2004 SC352 that has a new Daihatsu engine and there is no number on the turbo. If yours has a number on the turbo, please let me know and I might be able to help you. I know Deutz was asking $1,700 for a new one and I sell an after market for $700 that nobody has had issues with.
