im new on here and looking for some advice on purchasing a chipper.

Here's what i know about the chipper....

its a 2004 Bandit 280xp

505hrs, hydraulic winch,auto feed, 140hp cat engine, single axle.

new wheel bearings on the disc, new clutch.

the asking price is 17,000.

any advice on this would be helpful, thanks

Those low hours don't make sense with the clutch and bearing replacement at all!
If that was truly the case you will be replacing those things every year and a half x2000.00 a pop.

I totally agree. When I see bearings replaced at 505 hours I think the machine was abused or maintenence was not done properly. I'd stay far away from that machine. Keep looking.
