I just purchased a C16T FMC 16" drum chipper and after closer examination think I may have a problem with the bed plate under the drum.
There is a torch cut piece of 3/8" metal slid into the slot underneath the drum and bolted to the frame on the discharge side of the drum.
Is there supposed to be a bed knife bolted to a bed plate at the drum?
If anyone has one of these chippers that could email photos of the front and rear views of the drum to give me an ideal of what I need to do I would greatly appreciate it and will be more than glad to compensate you for the assistance.
Also need a manual and will pay for any assistance for helping me to get one.
