New owner of this Chuck and Duck. The seller had no information on at all. It is in pretty good shape. Here some are details I found on my own: Ford V8 either a 272 or 292, has a M&M drum in it. I can measure the drum. Any help would be appreciated, along where I can get some manuals or online information on the chipper...thanks.

Don’t wear gloves 🤪

Slow but sure I am finding information on this one. Looks to be from the '60's a

Mitts & Merrill Chuck and Duck brush/chipper.

The motor I can handle as far as maintenance it is a Ford 292 V8. Looking into the governor, I need what type oil or gear lube this box takes. Mine is very dirty and low, so a change is needed. Also the drum needs greasing, I am thinking standard bearing grease thru the top of each bearing. Any help, would help....thanks...

M chippers governors used same oil as motor
Well I may have the terminology screwed up. Mine actually has no governor, I was talking about the box that turns the belt hooked to the drum. After cleaning the dip stick top off, I saw it takes "Type A" fluid. Dextron 3 (trans fluid) is a replacement for Type A, so we are good on that. It held 1 1/2 gallons.
