Ik i hate the cat muffler and ok ill look in the morning as 2 wat the carb number is is there a way 2 punch the cat part outta the muffler like u can do on cars

As far as ik the saw is completly stock i bought the saw from my boss cuz i loved it now its just kinda became a pita sumtimes he had it maintaind regularly

Well sumtimes even after its warmd up and idling fine u go and put it in wood and it dies instanly me and the guy i bought it from cut 2gether and he even tryd using it 1 day and it was doing it 2 him so it got put back in the truck

Frequently you can't see the carb number until it is off the saw, it's on the bottom or someplace you can't access while mounted.

You are just gonna have to do what most of us have done, take it off, pay attention when taking it apart, clean it all out with some carb spray (not a compressor), replace the diaphragms and gaskets, etc with the correct kit, etc. Once off it is easier to pull the limiter tabs on the adjustment screws as well.

At the same time, replace the fuel line and filter and vent line if it has one in the tank. rinse the tank out as well with some mix.

As to the muffler, some are easier than others to gut, it might be easier to look for a replacement aftermarket one without the cat.

The first time on doing that stuff, just take your time.

The guy i bought it from had the carb rebuilt last year and he had um remove the limiter tabs

Hmm..maybe they screwed it up, or failed to replace the filter at the same time? Brand new rebuilt carb can get regunked up in one tank with crappy dirty fuel or leaving ethanol fuel in it for a long time.

Anyway, you'll have to figger that out, can't do it over the interwebs. As to the muffler, just start looking for one, some aftermarket model that would be easier to mod, or take yours off and look at it. Some guys have some luck hoggin em out from the inside hole.
