need help with tree ID

thats it! does it have a common name

Not a common name in Dirr (it has the same cultivar name though). I'd call it a "Rotundiloba Sweet gum"... whether that is 'correct' nomenclature or not, I don't know but that is what I'd go with until told otherwise.

the "leaf4" photo leaves no doubt that it was Sweet gum...props to Sylvia for finding the cultivar.

i googled it and saw it also called round lobe sweet gum which is probably what rotundiloba means. i came across this tree last thursday and its been driving me crazy not knowing what it was. this is definately a good street tree. no seeds!
