I took apart an 026 case that i picked up cheap and the clutch side bearing was toast ( came out in pieces or at least the ball bearings did.) Heres my dilemma. Is the clutch side case on the 026 where the bearing goes apart of the case/housing?? The reason i ask is because a ring came out when i tried to re-install the crank and i'm hoping its part of the old bearing housing i stupidly left there. Here are some picks of the items. I hope my case is still good. Always see post here about changing bearings etc... so i thought i'd try it also. Thanks.:bang:
