Thanks for the offer and I will keep it in mind but I really just want to find him the screw and spring . He's been logging since last summer but has been out of work since the first of the year due to too much rain so his funds are short . He uses this small saw to cut firewood and is still able to use it but has to start it every time he sits it down . The carb is an HDC -51B . I have ordered the parts from Jacks but they canceled on me and now have an order in elsewhere but really expect that they will cancel also due to the manufacturer discontinuing the parts .

I just went through 50 carburetors I have. I have only one hdc and it is not the 51b. If you lived close I bet one of these screws would work but I can't match it exact by carb number. Mike

Have you contacted Walbro directly? They have been helpful in the past...and, have directed me to a source of discontinued carb parts.
