Very small tree service made me think small chipper. I love my 65XP with 32.5hp Kubota gas.

The only time I wish I had a bigger chipper is when dealing with stuff that’s not good firewood to sell, like most conifers here, willow, poplar. Soft and light stuff like that.

how much did that cost you?
I got my bc1000 for 24000 with 700 hours on it.
Chipping up the wood is way faster than bucking it all up. I know I could probably sell fire wood but it just seems like a waste. What dyou do in the winter?
 
I bought it used, so no idea what it would be new with factory upgrades.
It was new in 2012. I bought it last year, I paid 8500$, had a little under 900 hours and came with 3 new sets of knives and a new belt.

O ok not bad. Do you make pretty good money on firewood then? and how do you move big ass wood? Dyou bring a log splitter to location or do you have heavy machinary

It depends on the direction of YOUR company. You either hand load the big wood or you buy more equipment or you don’t take it pretty simple. The wood is we’re the real work comes into play. Brush is easy.
