Need log splitter without engine

Can anyone tell me if any of these companies that make log splitters sell one without the engine? I have lots of small engines laying around and could use one of those for the power source.

How about one that was originally intended to run of a tractor PTO and hung on the three point?

three point splitter is not a bad idea but still would need a pump and hydraulic reservoir

The one I was looking at adapting used the tractors PTO to drive a pump that was mounted on the splitter frame , along with the reservoir. Other than a motor and wheels it was a complete splitter..

never saw one like that before--do you have a brand name or link to look at it?

Nope, it sat in the parking lot of the local TS. It was a return and had been used , was locked to a light pole for 3 months untill somebody bought it.
