need more penitration

i need more depth.
Is there any way to increase the cutting depth of the stump grinders. Example: put the back wheels on some type of raised dolly or some thing.
has any one ever tried or made some modifications there's.

why do you need that ????

I run a SC60 TX when i do work requiring a full 22-24" depth I just stick a 6"X6" post under the rear tracks and it gives me tons of depth.

I have Carlton 4012,with the kabota. The contract requires that i grind 18" below grade for replanting in the same wholeYea the hole has to be 36"x36"x 18". so iwas thing that the rear end has to be raised some how. ??????

Be careful raising up the machines and changing the maximum engine angles. The machines are designed to go so far down and keep the engine running and lubricated. Change it that far and the engine could starve for oil and cause damage. Check with your engine manufacturer and make sure you are not going to kill your engine by increasing the angle over maximum.
