Need opinions on new firewood saw

Cutting wood for 4 houses, the investment into a pro quality saw will be worth your while.

Myself I would go with a 372 or 7900 and then a small saw to back it up.

Stihl 260, Husky 346, or Dol 5100 or step up to the 60 cc size and look at the 359 on price point.

Well, I'm also cutting for 4 houses, sometime whit 2 of mine younger brothers, whit mine saw's, and good pro saw's (Jonsered ) is better than any plastic/semi anything saw's

I use the 2152 for limbing, and I think it feels weary light, but that is after cutting whit the 2171 or 2159 so

.... the CS-670 is tops in my book. Just my $.02

According to the last specs pulished by Echo, it has about the power of a 357xp, and the weight of the 372xp - not a good deal imo........

I believe there is a reason that Echo quit publishing the power specs of their saws some time ago.......umpkin2:

Here I go again. If you're cutting wood for four families, buy the biggest, baddest saw you can afford. Don't scrimp. I bought a 046 after using an 028 for 15 years. My 046 with a 20" bar will eat anything I sink it into quickly. I still use my 028 once in a while, just to keep it in tune.

There is a huge power difference between the two, the 372xp is rated at 5.4 hp, while the Jred is a mere 5.3.......
