I am trying to resurrect a saw which was once a basket case. I have it running but am missing the cowling which covers the head. There are also apparently two clips which are part of the compression release. I have a parts book coming which I found on line so I may be able to provide part numbers and or better descriptions later.

Thanks for your reply

Hi
Not sure if those parts are used on other saws. The cylinder shield is part # A-68121. The 2 clips for the compression release are ; Clamp-upper #65754-1 and Clamp-lower # 65755-1. Haven't run across an online IPL for the saw.

I am glad to see another 3100G around. I have a few of them. The parts you need are the same on the 2100 and 3100. I will try to attach a page from the 3100 IPL. The file size may be a bit big.

Here are a few Homelite 3100G saws. They are nice saws but chains are always a problem. The saws pictured with 48" and 30" bars are both running 1/2" full chisel chain. The short bar saw is running 3/8''.
