Hello, I need some help, i have a weaver cougar with a glide bridge ( cougar bridge was not very good IMO). I want to be able to tie in with 2 climbing lines anchored to my saddle at 2 points. I just dont know the best way to do it without ant D rings what equipment do i need? Could I use 2 pulleys like the ones pictured below one for each rope?

Any advise would be great thanks.

Sorry I couldn't get the pic to work but i am talking about 2 mouse micro pulleys.

A small Lion's Paw (Rigging Plate) also works pretty good, to provide separation between the two climbing lines.

No... I don't think so, I have a Cougar as well and thought about trying it but it doesn't seem practical. Or all that safe.... I like that rigging paw though, might try it. Otherwise I'm usually on an open system, 4 biners on my rope bridge.

It is still an open system when you use only one biner per climbing system. If you need to change your TIP just slip your climbing line off the biner and move it where you need to.

You climbing traditional or mechanical with micropully md?

I am climbing with an eye 2 eye prussic, boat swivel snap to tend slack and eye spliced Poison Ivy rope. I found the boat swivel snap tends slack better than a micro pulley with my setup plus it's lighter.

I'll take some pics later if I can find my camera.

How would a second bridge work on the weaver cougar? Would two bridges fit on the rings it comes with?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the weaver cougar, I use a Butterfly, It has the original wide strap bridge and I added the shorter thinner one with the ring that come with a B'fly2, this one gets used most.

Cool, I think I'm picturing it now... What hitch you use? VT? Distle?

(sorry bout the hijack)

I'm using a VT.

I replaced the micro pulley with a boat swivel snap because the pulley I had was bulky and not working real well with my setup. Treeco actually suggested the swivel snap. It works great! With the VT on the HRC you really don't need to force a pulley into the knot to advance it. The knot is very responsive and just the action of bending the line and advancing the swivel snap advances the VT.

I'll take a pic when I get my camera back later on. I loaned it out and will get it back later today.
