2 nights in a row (midnight), I had to plow 3 to 4 inches of snow with my lawn tractor, and then again the same in the morning. I've got snow piles up to 6 feet. The driveway is fast closing in, as the berms cannot be pushed back. We've another significant storm heading in either later today or tomorrow.

This SUCKS!!!

This is what you have to do...
Break out the Husky, put a 48" bar on it and noodle the sides of your driveway. PERFECT!!!!

I'm just to the south of where they got the 6'. I probably got 3' during that storm. It's all melted now and I hope it stays like that. I wish the ground would stay frozen because I have more trees I want to get it off the woods and it's a swamp untill June. The rain we got yesterday and the warm weather in the forecast means I'll be done... Bring on spring!

Wow! I'm in central Indiana, and we literally haven't had enough snow this winter to use the snow blower, though I did use it on a 2" snow, one time, just to get it running.

Central Indiana also just north of Indy. I've ridden motorcycle about a dozen days January and February !! [emoji3] Buddies that plow snow, 2nd winter bust for them.

Winter is hanging on here. Amount of total snow has set a record. I shoveled 4" off the patio for the dogs night before last. This is the first time since 198x something when I built it that I will run out of wood in the woodshed. Will be pulling wood out of stacks in hte woodyard next week. Had a record breaking cold spell in Jan but other than that the temsp have been pretty much seasonal.

Lots of snow here this year. I had to drive my skid steer to the house this past weekend to push the banks back. Lots of drifting from the 60-80mph winds too.

My elderly neighbor just had a tunnel barely car width wide, the sides were easily 8ft high. He was real happy I cleaned it up, he was getting worried out it.
I'm still burning "left over" Wood from 2015, didn't even touch the wood for this year yet.

I only cleared my driveway once this year and that was only because I had company coming over This has been the warmest, wettest, least snowy winter I can ever remember. I'll burn less than three cords this year and I usually do around five.

I think I could count the times we've even had snow on the ground on one hand.

I put my western plow in the garage in the fall like I do every year. It hasn't left the garage yet. I've plowed twice this winter with the atv. It's been a very light warm windy winter here in western New York

Dry, windy day tomorrow and dry almost all day Saturday - should give the mud a chance to dry up a little. Saturday, God willing, will be my first outing with the saws. Big pile of what I suspect to be Black Walut logs. Hate to cut it into firewood but can't find anyone (yet) with a means to process it.
