Who's climbing on 12-strand line, have you went from 16 back to 12-strand ever. I have only been on yale 16-strand xtc and really like it, no problems. Yale sent me a 24'' sample of there new 12-strand orange ''buzz line''. I like the feel of this stuff. Its a bit course and feels larger than my 16-strand. And the 12 buzz-line is stronger than 16 xtc by 1200#. Any one useing this new buzz- line, what do you think? Are there any big differences between 12 & 16 strand that sets them apart.I think yale is targeting the true-blue users. I need to get a sample of that rope also before I decide if I want to try 12-strand rope. I am also courious about new england safety blue 16-strand for its strength. X-MAS is coming and santa is getting ready to swing in with some new tree gear !!!! :p

12strand

I looked at the new buzzline, it feels too soft. I dont think its going to be abrasive resisant. Natural crothches might eat it up.
Yalte xtc 12 for me or N england safety blue in a 16 strand.
