I don't know why there's even a discussion about spark plugs. I NEVER have plug problems, they just go and go and go --------------------------

What plugs r made in the US?
I don't know if any are anymore, even the US brands. But I'm not sure why I should care if a foreign brand spark plug moves manufacture to some other foreign country.

Personally I use Champions as I like their new EZ Start plugs.

There is an old Champion plant near here, but it is shuttered now. It is also a Superfund site. So is it better or worse to have them made here?

Probably not but I do know some plugs put out a stronger spark and hotter. Back when I raced dirtbikes it seemed the splitfires fouled less and ran better but would burn a topend up

China is notorious for poor manufacturing. They cut costs and quality wherever they can to stay competitive. I simply cannot think of more than a few things made in China that I wouldn't mind owning. Most of those things are firearms related.

They did invent gun powder though, so I should be grateful.
