I have a BR 600 that is running fine 90 % of the time and misssing or something part of the time if yo let off the throttle then get back in it it is sometimes fine and sometimes continues to miss or whatever it is doing... I bought it new and it was this way immediately. Dealer said they ran 2 tanks through it and can't get it to act up. They said they can't really try anything b/c if it is not a problem warranty won't cover it and it will be on me. Try again and let us know. What are my options..

Mine does it when the tank is low! Run ultra and high test fuel.

Rope, Do you run that in everything or just the blower?

All my two strokes use it now the problem with our blowers is
carbon buildup and T hall said the ultra would help to keep it clear.
I asked him the same question about my blower cutting out also
since brand new and if the tank is a little low it will; try it next time
it starts acting up and see if it doesn't correct it! If not pm thall
and have him put in some words on your behalf! He is the stihl guru
and has that good moral fiber:laugh:

Br600

I have had my br600 since right after they came out, If my tank is going much to the point of 1/4- 1/3 empty it will sputter and not run max rpm.. I have learned to just keep the tank full...

Yep. it is the tank low problem. If you are almost done you can lean to the left and it will be fine. The left side is where the fuel pick up is. I have heard there is a new one that is weighted and goes in the middle of the tank but have not looked into it.
